Honouring a sixties folk hero, the Guild M-260E Deluxe electro-acoustic takes its cues from the original Guild F-20. This more current model has the same smaller body size, which isn't just ideal for finger-picking styles but packs surprisingly big sound, making it a great travel partner. The solid Sitka spruce soundboard and exotic striped ebony sides are supported by an arched striped ebony back, completing a clear and defined acoustic foundation and outstanding projection. The Guild M-260E Deluxe: Detailed Design Besides the high-quality materials that went into the construction, the Guild M-260E comes with a few finer details that bring the build up to a deluxe level. The rosewood fretboard has been bound and the body has been outlined with multi-ply black and white binding, while mother-of-pearl inlay work add polish to both the position markers and soundhole rosette. The nut and bridge are made from real bone to guarantee optimised vibrational transfer from the strings to the body as well as stable and smooth tuning, especially when you add on the full set of 18:1 open gear machine heads and, since this is a modern take on a Guild classic, it also features a built-in Guild x Fishman GT-1 preamp and S-Core Piezo pickup so this guitar can be taken straight to stage.
