The wonder-child of the TRM Series, the Omnitronic TRM-422 combines all of the best features of the series, adds a few extras and then wraps it all up in one potent mixer. So, all the fan-favourites have been lined up on a single control panel, alongside some special user-suggested functions. Each of the four inputs has been equipped with two line-inputs, which can be flipped into phono mode at the push of a button. Independent volume and gain controls have been provided per channel, and besides the master isolator for the bass, mids, and treble; HPF, BPF, LPF, resonance and sweep filters can be applied to each of the four channels. DJs are even offered the choice between an XLR or RCA master-output. Effect & DVS Integration & Recording The TRM-422 mixer also features an effects loop via a 6.3mm jack FX-out and FX-in fitted on the rear panel. The master section has also been kitted out with an unbalanced send and return pad for looping through additional effects. A DVS (Digital Vinyl System) can be easily integrated, whether it's Traktor or Serato, thanks to the timecode support of this thoughtful mixer. Two microphones can be hooked up via the XLR ports, while an extra two XLR ports have been fitted for linking up your monitors. The Booth section has been set up with both an XLR and RCA output and the signal can be tweaked to match the acoustics of the room using the high and low EQ controls. And, to finish, you can even record sets and mix-tapes thanks to the RCA record-out function around the back.
