French art nouveau bronze and brass wall light with glass shades.the sconce is made up of a bronze backplate with a ribbon and bows detail to the top and floral decoration.From the backplate come the two curved arms each with a grooved detail which lead to the round brass shade holders.The shades are in white opaque glass with a sweeping design and frilled edge.They diffuse light beautifully to create a warm and inviting ambiance.Each shade is held in position with three small screws.the light is wired with french twin core wiring and takes 2 large bayonet bulb b22.The bronze has lovely aged patina with some verdigris and marks associated with age.The shades are complete and free from cracks, they do have some nibbles around the tops where they fit in the shade holders.There is a bar on the back of the sconce for hanging after wiring and a 2 fixing holes on the back plate.Fittings not included.All of the items we sell are second hand/vintage/antique and used, so please check the photos before purchasing as these form part of the description.Please feel free to get in touch with any questions or further image requests.Some items may be dismantled for shipping and we use recycled packaging where possible to help save the planet.Our lights are lit for display purposes only and we recommend that all electrical items are checked by a qualified electrician in your own country to comply with local safety regulations.
