The Jackson Concept Series DK Modern MDK HT8 MS electric guitar is a Custom Shop creation complete with an eight-string setup, twenty-four stainless-steel jumbo frets in a fanned layout and a set of Fishman Fluence Modern pickups. To guarantee ultra-accurate intonation and superb string-tension across all eight strings, the scale length graduates from 25.5 inches at the lowest gauged string to 27.5 inches at the highest gauged string. The stable three-piece maple neck has been fused to the basswood body via a four-bolt join to boost resonance and, to support tight riffs and smooth solos, the ebony fretboard has been given a 12 inch to 16 inch radius. The Jackson Concept Series DK Modern MDK HT8 MS: Active & Passive Sound The sound of this deluxe Jackson multi-scale is spooned out by a progressive pair of Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers which, by popping out the push-pull tone pot, can be flipped between two different voicings to complete a mega-variable sonic range. The PRF-M39-CB1 pup at the bridge can be varied from a tight and defined, active ceramic sound to an organic and bright, passive sound at will, while the OEM-M39-AB1 pup at the neck shifts from a full and round, dynamic active sound to a bright and round, Alnico-voiced sound with a classic passive character. For good measure, Jackson has included an exclusive Form Core Case.
