Back by popular demand, the '80s cult classic that is the Gibson Victory still has the same high-speed, streamlined body and the same ultra-versatile pickup-loadout but now comes with some more modern playability. The solid and balanced mahogany body has been finished with snug contouring while the neck has, of course, been topped with an iconic Explorer headstock. Two 80s Tribute humbuckers stacked up at the neck and bridge guarantee rich and thick output - fully calibrated for big and defined rock tone that can be switched up for some bright single-coil sound via the push/pull coil-split inner and inner-outer coil selection controls to expand the range. The Gibson Victory: Even Faster Playability Unlike most modern Gibson models, the Victory has a 25.5 inch scale length, which is a touch longer than the standard 24.75 inches, all to give the strings a tighter and more controlled feel, even when using alternative tunings. The back of the mahogany neck has a SlimTaper carve and the ebony fretboard comes with a compound radius, so when you add on the set of twenty-four medium-jumbo frets, the playability is probably even faster than the OG models from back in the day. And, since this is a Gibson six-string, the hardware is just as on-point: from the Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop Bar to the Grover Mini Rotomatic machine heads, so you're assured of solid and stable tuning as well as lush vibrational transfer and resonance.
