Rolling off the Custom Shop floor, the Artist Collection Signature Telecaster Journeyman Relic accurately recreates the fateful 1959 Tele that Jimmy Page used to lay down the sound of Led Zeppelin and The Yardbirds. This solid chopping board has the exact look of the model that long-time friend, band mate, and fellow guitar legend Jeff Beck gifted to Page back in the early sixties - before it was adorned with a pack of circular mirrors, and way before Jimmy refinished the paint-job, swapped out the scratchplate and turned it into the iconic 'Dragon'. The Fender Jimmy Page Signature Tele: Whole Lotta Love Besides a tasty look, this Tele comes bundled up with some appropriately tasty case candy, so tucked away inside the included Deluxe hardshell case you'll find an ACE reissue Stained Glass guitar strap, an authentic black coiled jack lead, a Certificate of Authenticity, and even a mirror application kit. Beyond that, this Signature Telecaster features a Journeyman Relic finish, which coats a two-piece ash body with an off-centre seam. This solid base is coupled with a tinted maple neck with a Custom Oval C-profile, twenty-one vintage frets, and a rosewood fretboard. Think About It The lightly relicted nitrocellulose lacquer tightens up the presence of the already sparkling acoustic sound, which is expertly translated by a set of two hand-wound Custom Shop '58 Tele single-coils. The distinctly vintage-flavoured output is fully Page-worthy, and also more-than-worthy of voicing everything from The Yardbirds hit 'Think About It' to Led Zeppelin giants like 'Dazed & Confused' and 'Communication Breakdown'.
