Built in close collaboration with Justin Townes Earle, and released just before his untimely death in 2020, the Recording King RPS-JTE signature acoustic guitar is a Satin Tobacco Sunburst-coated ode to one of the best Americana artists. This parlor-style model has been thoughtfully kept affordable and a significant share of the proceeds will be going to Justin Townes Earle's family. Bear in mind that it's a limited edition, so you'll have to be quick if you want to get your hands on this rootsy, JTE-signed acoustic guitar and the three exclusive photo cards it comes with. The RPS-JTE: Chic, Comfortable 0-Style Signature Guitar for Percussive Playing Styles Since Justin was very charmed by the steel-string 0-style RPS guitars in the Dirty '30s Series, it's those models that this signature guitar has been based on. The soundboard has been carefully carved from a slab of AAA-quality solid spruce, while the body is made from whitewood and has been finished with a comfortable C-profile maple neck, making the RPS-JTE-TS the ideal string instrument for natural percussive playing styles. Further featuring a traditional floating bridge, a matching gold-plated tailpiece and vintage-style, open gear tuners, the guitar is fully decked out in accordance with JTE's wishes and adorned with aesthetically-matching tuning pegs, body binding and a soundhole rosette.
