Gretsch have revisited the sixties to bring back one of their rarest models ever made. The Rally II packs that same vintage vibe but naturally also comes with several 21st century upgrades for enhanced reliability, sound and stability. This classic thinline hollowbody guitar features a double cutaway body made of laminated maple and reinforced with a mahogany centre-block, all of which has been secured to a set-in nato neck finished with a Thin U profile, a 12-inch fretboard radius and twenty-two medium jumbo frets. The G2604T: Traditional Tonal Sparkle Backed Up By Increased Output Thanks to the way it's built, this Streamliner Rally II Center Block shapes a tight-and-bright foundation sound full of lightly sugar-coated trebles. At the same time, this archtop guitar counters unwanted feedback while it's plugged in and the two mounted Super Hilo'Tron humbuckers come to life to spit sparkling, high-output sound. Also, the G2604T comes decked out in a period-correct coat of paint and polished off with a stable Anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge complete with a Bigsby B70 vibrato tailpiece.
