A modern reworking of one of Yamaha's classics, the Red Label Series FS5 acoustic guitar features an all-solid build and refined retro aesthetics sealed inside high-gloss varnish. This model calls back all of the aesthetics of the original sixties FG guitars, while the tight and comfy concert body brings the lush, complex and resonant sound of a solid Sitka spruce soundboard, solid mahogany back and solid mahogany sides. The result is life-packed, open tone with plenty of depth, powerful basses and rich mids. This Japanese-built six-string comes complete with a hardshell case. The FS5: Acoustic Resonance Enhancement Since things have come a long way since the sixties, this modern Yamaha model has been treated using exclusive A.R.E. technology: a process where temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure is used to synthetically age and mature the wood and enhance its character, giving this guitar the fullness of a played-in model that's been around for years already. Like all Red Label models, the FS5 also features a newly developed bracing structure, designed to deepen the tonal warmth and optimise the overall sound, especially in the lower regions, and all without compromising on stability and durability.
