Want an amp that delivers authentic sound without a bunch of bells and whistles? The Koch Classic SE12 offers pure tube-tone and a lightning-fast response. Built by leading Dutch amp builder, Koch, this straight-up, all-tube combo immediately reacts to the dynamics in your playing and, thanks to the dedicated recording/PA output with built-in speaker simulation, supports both gigs and studio recording sessions. The power amp section is home to a single EL34 power amp tube, hence 'SE', or Single-Ended. The Classic SE: Room for Experimentation Fitted with special voicing switches, the SE12 hands you a lot of control over the sound. The Mid Boost switch gives you a more defined sound, while the Bass Cut switch tightens up the low frequencies, even when you're running serious distortion. Extra saturation can be easily dialled in via the Gain Boost switch, and the Low Power attenuator will come in handy whenever you want to keep the volume in check since it drops the power output from 12W down to 4W. Last but not least, this Classic Series amp also features a dedicated input for hooking up an external preamp.
