Very beautiful vintage service, consisting of a large coffee pot/chocolate pot, sugar bowl, creamer and two large cups for chocolate, decorated with images of bees and plant ornaments. The service is made in the Empire style, has rich gilding on all items, hand-painted by the artist-decorator M. Carpezat, whose workshop existed from 1946 to 1960 in Limoges. On the bottom of the items there is a green mark Limoges, France and a red inscription "Empire decor, hand-made, M. Carpezat". All the objects have feet, the tops of the coffee pot and sugar bowl are gilded, the sugar bowl has ring-shaped handles, and the spout of the coffee pot is shaped like a bird's beak. The coffee pot, sugar bowl and creamer are in excellent condition, apparently they were not used often, they are without chips or cracks. The cups have some gilding coming off, there are some rough spots on the handle of one cup on the relief of a Greek mythical deity. On the outside of the bottom of the other cup there is a small underglaze crack, almost unnoticeable (photo 10). These flaws do not affect the practical use of the items in any way, but I must mention that they exist.Size approx.Cup size is.9.5 cm 3.54 inch`s high.10.7 3.93 inch`s across.12.5 cm 4, 72 inch`s inch across plus handles.Liquid volume 300 ml.Chocolate/Coffee pot.Height with lid 28.5 cm 11.02 inch`s.Width with handle 18.5 cm 7.08 inch`s.Bottom diameter 9 cm 3.54 inch`s.Sugar bowl.Height with lid 19 cm 7.48 inch`s.Width with handles 12 cm 4.72 inch`s.Bottom diameter 7 cm 2.75 inch`s.Creamer.Height 18.5 cm 7.08 inch`s.Width with handles 10.8 cm 3.93 inch`s.Bottom diameter 7 cm 2.75 inch`s.
