Ultra-stable and ultra-flexible, every last inch of the high-performance Ibanez RGRB620 has been built to serve the modern metal guitarist with uncompromising sound and comfort. The understated matte black paint-job and signature reversed headstock make it clear that this model is all about power and focus, while the classic, ST-style RG body has been carved from solid nyatoh, giving the foundation some rich low-mid punch and giving you everything you need to deliver tight rhythms and complex chords, all framed by defined harmonics. The solid, bolt-on Wizard III neck even boasts a five-piece maple and walnut construction, which doesn't just boost the stability, but soups up the speed and responsiveness. The Ibanez RGRB620: From the Brutal to the Subtle The deluxe ebony fretboard adds a little extra definition and a more powerful attack to the tonal base, while a full set of twenty-four jumbo frets guarantee accurate and controlled note navigation. The amplified voice of the RGRB620 is moulded to shape by a pair of DiMarzio D Activator humbuckers that deliver a full array of powerful and open guitar sounds, supported by tight bass performance and rich overtones. Via the extensive dyna-MIX10 system, your sonic palette is expanded by the extra five sound options provided by the Alter switch. Add that to the standard options offered by the five-way selector switch, and you have a total of ten different profiles and, thanks to the addition of a coil-tap function, you even gain access to single-coil-style output. Robust Build The hardware load-out is just as impressive and includes an Edge-Zero II tremolo bridge, a locking nut and a high-grade set of Japanese-made Gotoh machine heads, all of which team up to guarantee unshakable tuning stability and surgically-accurate intonation, even when you're pushing the tremolo arm to its limits. Luminescent dots have also been lined up along the side of the neck, giving you a clear guide while navigating notes in the dark, and all of these details go into polishing off a robust and thoughtful, gig-proof build that can take on the heaviest of guitar work.
