The high-grade MIDI conversion and algorithmic pitch analysis is backed up by an ultra-low latency of around 6 to 15 milliseconds, meaning that every detail and nuance of your playing technique is tracked and translated into an entirely different sound in near-real-time. Connectivity Besides a standard 6.3mm jack output, the Jamstik Classic MIDI Guitar comes fitted with another two MIDI capable outputs. So, as well as a 3.5mm TRS MIDI mini-jack output, this guitar has a USB-C port, which also doubles as a charging port for the built-in lithium-ion battery which, on a full charge, delivers over eight hours of performance time. Using the virtual instruments and sounds that came with your DAW software, or using the downloadable Jamstik Creator software for Mac and PC, you can literally transform the sound of this guitar into that of any emulated instrument, from strings to synths and from brass sections to tuned percussion. By downloading the Jamstik Control App and pairing up via Bluetooth, you can even do it all cable-free.
