Kitted out with a set of thirty-seven mini-keys, this MIDI keyboard covers three whole octaves while keeping things compact, portable and complete. Besides the extra options that come with a wider playing range, this model still comes fully kitted out for travelling writers and producers. The Fourth Generation Novation Launchkey The Novation Launchkey MK4 doesn't just come with a bank of pads to support clip triggering in performance-based software like Ableton Live, but gives you a bank of sixteen pads, all backed up by polyphonic aftertouch for even bigger and even more dynamic expression. This time around, you also get a fully up-to date and razor-sharp OLED screen, which displays your encoder values in real-time and can also take you through the scales and chords of a specific key, helping out those writers and producers with a little less playing experience. The on-board arpeggiator is another nice perk, giving you a playground for trying out ideas and discovering things that you might never have come up with otherwise. And, last but not least, there's the bulging software package that comes included as standard: Ableton Live Lite plus a few virtual instrument packs to get you up and running straight away.
